Single Sign-On Technology
The term Single Sign On can be translated as „only one signing in “or „only one participation notification “. It is a process in which the user enters or assigns his identification and security terms into system only once – by logging in, he is authorised to access the application and sources with no further need of identification for accessing each source and no need to use several different passwords.
The SSO application takes care about delivery of identification data and so it supplements manual entering of user name and password to system in which the user wants to be identified.
