Since April 2006, Generali, a.s., an insurance company, and VUB, a.s., have been using portal Agent portal VUB/Generali application designed for insurance product sale.
Interway is a general supplier of this application and a coordinator of specialized tasks sustaining interoperability of existing application AGENT (Delphi technology) and a portal solution based on JAVA platform. Integration technology is based on COM objects in Tomcat environment (JAVA based).
Agent portal VUB/Generali, the insurance application, is also integrated with VUB intranet environment. All products of capital and investment life insurance of Generali sold in VUB branches are processed by portal application Agent VUB/Generali.
